Through its clinical partnerships and grants from governmental programs Signature Diagnostics is currently creating an important oncology network in colorectal cancer (CRC) and in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) involving opinion leaders in clinical oncology, surgeons and pathologists from many hospitals throughout Brandenburg, Berlin, Germany, and Europe.

We are interested in developing prognostic and drug response signatures towards the most common adjuvant treatments in CRC and NSCLC as well as towards certain novel cancer therapeutics (e.g. signal transduction inhibitors). Towards this purpose we are organizing and sponsoring mono-center and multi-center clinical diagnostic trials.

We have initiated a multi-center clinical diagnostic trial towards the identification of molecular signatures in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC). Our clinical partners are major hospitals located in the Land Brandenburg and Berlin, and all over Germany. We intend to recruit 1000 CRC patients of all stages per year over a period of three to five years and collect high quality snap frozen tumor tissue as well as clinical follow-up data.
