Data mining and biostatistics is based on our data warehousing architecture. It captures the extensive molecular data generated by our in-house lab facilities as well as the histopathological, peri- and postoperative clinical data supplied by our clinical partners. It also offers multifaceted and sophisticated analyses tools as well as various data processing levels. As a result all our array data will be linked to the clinical data from the cancer patient. Based on state-of-the-art statistics and data mining tools we process Affymetrix standard gene arrays for RNA expression and SNP profiling.

We also design and process Affymetrix custom arrays. In addition, we correlate the various GeneChip profiles with clinical data in order to identify robust molecular signatures of high accuracy. These signatures will allow improved prediction of therapy outcome and drug response.
